SMOKE DETECTOR INSPECTOR LLC (SDI) is licensed to inspect smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. SDI installs and inspects smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors to comply with the law for both battery-powered and electric hard-wired detectors. Specifically, SDI per each inspection will:
- Install new smoke detectors as required by law
- Replace smoke detectors and or carbon monoxide detectors more than 10 years old
- Test each smoke detector with smoke from an environmentally safe canister approved for NFPA 72.
- Replace smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors that are not working properly
- Replace smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector batteries
- Provide the tenant and property manager or residential homeowner with certification that all required smoke detectors are installed, inspected, and in good working order
Per Certification
$75 and up - Per Certification
One year warranty on all installations (batteries included). Written Certification presented at conclusion of all Inspections.
